Biography

Tony Caunter was an English actor best known for his roles as Jack Shepherd in the Yorkshire Television sitcom Queenie's Castle (1970–72), DCI Jim Logan in the first three seasons of Juliet Bravo (1980–1982), and his portrayal of the kindly car dealer Roy Evans in EastEnders (1994–2003). He also starred in several films, including The Hill opposite Sean Connery, and The Ipcress File opposite Michael Caine.
