Biography

Corey Alex Seaver (born April 25, 1999) is an American actor, writer and filmmaker. He commenced acting in June 2017 as a recurring background high school student on the second season of the Netflix teen drama 13 Reasons Why (Anonymous Content). About halfway through production, his first film appearance arrived as a Pier 39 pedestrian in the 2018 Marvel Cinematic Universe entry Ant-Man and the Wasp. Following this, opportunities began piling up and, upon completion of aforementioned series' third season, Seaver obtained speaking roles in student and independent films, as well as taking scene study courses at the Beverly Hills Playhouse. Among his repertoire includes The OA, Always Be My Maybe and A Taiwanese Tale of Two Cities (Netflix), Wheels of Fortune and A Christmas Mystery (ESX), Earth Mama (Park Pictures), Fremont (Blue Morning), I'm a Virgo (Media Res), Freaky Tales (eOne), The Lost Son Returns as the Duke (ReelShort), The Tutors (Galatea TV), and Artificial (Heyday). Whether it be an encyclopediac knowledge of the cinematic art, a devotion to the cult TV series Mystery Science Theater 3000 and its spiritual successor RiffTrax, or co-creating director/actor filmographies on the Internet Archive, Seaver is well versed in pop culture, has an enthusiasm for musical theatre, and watches a wide variety of film genres (he's very active on Letterboxd, under the username 'chief_mccloud'). He has penned various short stories since junior high, and has only in the past few years advanced to screenplays. In June 2026, Seaver ceased pursuing acting, a combined decision of lack of work and no desire to be associated with the increasingly pro-AI Screen Actors Guild.
