Biography
Arlan O'Flaherty is a young director, writer, poet and video editor who has been making films since 2023. Arlan O'Flaherty regards that he has been invested in the subject from a young age, even if it didn't directly start with "films" itself. He discovered his passions through creativity, worldbuilding on games like Minecraft & Roblox, writing poems, leading teams on small game projects and simply editing videos consistently! Arlan hasn't been editing videos for a lifetime, but as of 2026, he is currently learning & researching other softwares, such as Blender, and using Microsoft Clipchamp to edit best. While some would agree that he uses a simple editor to create his mind-bending stories, the stories Arlan creates don't just come from a simple 'export' and 'publish', but also from tweaking, cutting, writing, filming and brainstorming. Arlan believes that anyone fulfilling a similar role to him in the future should remind themselves that the process of creating films isn't easy - it is a difficult process, but he says, "Once you get into it, the process will become easier, because you become greater at carrying out the process".
