Overview

On the verge of becoming a father for the first time, a man begins retreating daily into a mysterious cave. His pregnant partner waits at home, immersed in her virtual reality headset. As they live their pregnancy more like an algorithmic suggestion than a biological event, the embryo in the womb starts perceiving more than they realize.
