Overview

Shahr Zaman (شهر زمان) is a 2015 Syrian social drama that follows Joury, a female news reporter who travels abroad to reunite with her husband, only to uncover his sadistic, controlling, and violent nature alongside a web of illegal activities. Woven alongside her story are parallel narratives, including a doctor's mission to build a children's hospital, painting a vivid portrait of personal struggle, social conflict, and the far-reaching impact of the Syrian crisis on ordinary lives.
