Overview

Gu Xinian, a miserable social animal, transmigrates into a melodramatic romance novel after an unexpected car accident and becomes the country bumpkin heiress Gu Xinian. Kidnapped and raised in the countryside as a child, the original Gu Xinian was uneducated, short-sighted, and uncouth. After being found by the Gu family, she returned to live with them. However, her rude demeanor and unreasonable actions caused her to be disliked by her parents, three older brothers, and her fiancé, Pei Chen. After her transmigration, modern-day Gu Xinian is saddled with a system that promises her 30 billion yuan in exchange for completing a personal mission. In order to return to her own world and receive that huge sum of money, Gu Xinian decides to complete the task of reducing the favorability of the people related to her. Unbeknownst to her, the system encounters a bug, which results in her family and fiancé being able to hear her inner thoughts.
